Taxenbach’s Sportpension Sonnhof is a small family run bed and breakfast which offersrooms that are individually furnished and come with a balcony. The rooms have a private bathroom, TV and Wi-Fi is available free of charge. A breakfast buffet is served each morning and is included in the room rate. The ski regions Zell am See and St. Johann in Pongau can both be reached by car in 20 minutes or less. Dorf Gastein is a 15-minute drive away. The Sporthotel has a ski storage room with ski boot drying facilities. The local bus stops a 5-minute walk away. Cross country ski tracks are just 100 m away, and a sled run can be visited in Bruck, a 15-minute drive away. Hiking and mountain biking are popular activities in the region. Rafting and canyoning tours can be organised on site.
