Set within a former Gentlemen's Club, YHA Newcastle Beach has retained heritage features including a communal lounge area with a fireplace, wood panelling and leather sofas. The property is set opposite Newcastle Beach and is 50m from Newcastle Beach Tram stop. Catch the tram from the Greyhound bus stop at the Newcastle Interchange to Newcastle Beach. This hostel boasts a terrace with BBQ facilities, a large shared kitchen and a games room with table tennis and a billiards table. Guests have free use of surfboards and bodyboards. The hostel also offers a tour desk and laundry facilities. Both dormitory rooms and private rooms are available. All offer access to shared bathroom facilities.
