Wake up to bird song echoing through the gully as the morning light dances through towering gums at this private cottage located 15 minutes drive west of Coffs Harbour. Escape in boho style and nourish your soul, sit by the open fire pit and soak in the spectacular bush view and clean mountain air. The cottage is nettled down a 200 metre long private driveway and is completely secluded. You’ll be amongst an abundance of wildlife, including a resident family of goannas who roam the land in the warmer months. Listen out for the lyrebirds calling and if you're lucky you'll see a wallaby or koala passing through. Bathe in fresh rainwater with complementary handmade organic soap and sleep on buttery soft linen. Breakfast including organic farm fresh eggs from just up the road, organic fruits, artisan made bread and homemade black goji berry granola is provided as well as snacks and drinks. The cottage is part off-grid with only power and phone/wifi connected to civilisation (powered by 100% renewable energy). There's a worm farm for your veggie scraps and a dam at the back of the property. When it rains you'll hear the stream flowing into the dam and there's nothing like rain falling on a tin roof - simply blissful. If you feel like exploring, it’s a 5 minute drive up the road to the fresh swimming holes of the Orara River and further along you can explore the natural beauty of Bindarri National Park with walking tracks, picnic areas, swimming holes, waterfalls and 4WD roads.

Upper Orara is a rural suburb located 15 minutes drive west of Coffs Harbour, NSW. The landscape has grazing pastures, beautiful rivers, national parks (Bindarri National Park) and State Forest which has walking and 4WD tracks that are nationally recognised. The old historic town of Coramba is the closest township and is 10 minutes drive west of Upper Orara. It has a local pub with an amazing view of grazing pastures, a local general store for basic cafe and food needs (bread, milk, butter and coffee are available) as well as a service station and post office. The cottage is located in a rural area so you'll need a car to get around. There is no public transport available at this property.
