Property information

The HITrental Old Town apartments are located within a stone’s throw from the world famous Chapel Bridge, in the time-honoured building where the Hotel Schiff used to be. Overlooking the stone paved alleyways of Lucerne’s old town you can wake up everyday in the heart of one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. Although the building itself is a couple of hundred years old it is freshly renovated and its interior adapted to more modern times while keeping the medieval charm alive. We even integrated a small elevator and you can benefit from free washing facilities. Please note that the apartments are located in a pedestrian area and therefore no parking spaces can be offered. We strongly recommend to travel by public transportation. The next parking is found at the central train station.

The apartments are just a five minute walk from Lucerne's main railway station the holiday homes are located in the scenic old town of Lucerne. The Chapel Bridge, the lake and many more sightseeing highlights are within walking distance of the holiday rental . Enjoy the charming vibe of city while being in proximity of everything you want to visit. From the main railway station there are trains running regularly to all the major cities in Switzerland and the furnished flats are in the vicinity of diverse shopping possibilities from grocery stores such as Manor or Migros to luxury good such as Bucherer Uhren or Swarovski.
