Having the oceanfront horizon and green grass on all sides does alleviating wonders! Check out our 20% weekly discount. The property is 6000 sqm from the ocean to the mountain. The house is 150sqm 2 floors and 5 bedrooms. 2 full bathrooms, a laundry room, a large kitchen/livingroom and a large connected greenhouse. Perfect for larger groups (20+guests) with it's multiple sitting areas, great internet, jacuzzi, large private parking and the airport less than 10 min. away and close to the bus stop
I love hosting guests, and reading about how your trip went. I love the Faroe Islands and want you to see the Faroe Islands from it's best side. I don't own any of the houses that I rent out myself. I just help some really nice people rent out their lovely homes :) I live in the same village so I'm usually never very far away in an emergency. But I have e newborn baby, so I prefer not to involve myself to much in other things.
The house itself is situated between 2 medium sized villages on the island of Vágar. There are no close neighbors, so you can be as loud a you want. The house is also perfect for the Northern lights with low light pollution. Sandavágur is one of the oldest (if not the oldest) village of the Faroes, where the larger of the 2 Faroese rune stones was found. The rune stone is now on display in the church in Sandavágur (no entrance fee). The older the village the better the weather and the more bounty-full the nature, is a good rule of thumb.
