Welcome to the Sixieme Ciel ;-) You will be staying in a private apartment inside a residential building. It is not a hotel but our personal home, which we now rent out all year long, since my husband and I moved abroad. You will thus find the comfort of a real home, carefully designed and decorated, with a specific care given to the well-being of our guests ;-) I personally answer all of your questions and I will be your contact during your stay, while our local team takes care of the maintenance of the apartment. The Sixieme Ciel is a 70 m² apartment, located on the 6th floor with lift. It can host up to 4 adults and 1 baby. Bright and cozy, the atmosphere is delicious, and comfort is the top priority. Its wide balcony with a view on the courtyard is particularly nice. The apartment is composed of a main bedroom with queen size bed, and a second bedroom with twin beds that can be assembled as a king size bed, or arranged as a sitting area so that you can enjoy more space. It also has a large highly functional kitchen, a modern bathroom with italien shower, and a separated toilet. The entire place is fully equipped and functional, so that you may cook, do your laundry or watch TV just like at home ;-) A super fast wifi connection (optical fiber) as well as a computer are available. You will also have access to a private parking space located in the basement of the building (for 1 car, max height 1,75 m). Sheets, towels and basic products are supplied. Cleaning at the end of your stay is included, as well as cleaning with change of linen once a week for stays above 10 days.
The apartment is located in the 6th district of Lyon, safe and quiet neighborhood, favorite area of the local upper class. It hosts the famous Parc de la Tête d’or (117 hectares), where locals meet for jogging or sunbathing in summertime. Within the district you will also find the Brotteaux area with its majestic former railway station and its many trendy places. Its geographical localisation makes it a very strategic location, as it is both close to the city center and easily accessible by car or transports. The apartment is located at 12 minutes walk from the city center, from the Parc de la Tête d'or, and from Part-Dieu station and commercial centre. There is a supermarket around the corner, and the Halles Paul Bocuse are a few minutes away. The closest metro station is a 500 meters walk.
