Company information

We are mountain people and get out on the slopes of Chamonix about 5 days a week There is always somewhere to go and ski or snowboard whatever the weather. That is one of the beauties of Chamonix. Between us we cover downhill skiing, snowboarding and telemarking. We only run the catered chalet in the winter season. In the summers we are based in the French Pyrenees walking and climbing. We ought to mention that we love food and are forever on the lookout for new and exciting things to put on the winter menus.

Property information

Ski Breezy is a cosy and relaxed Bed and Breakfast or Catered Chalet close to Chamonix town centre. We serve excellent, tasty home cooked food with flowing house wine. Breakfast is continental with fruit, yoghurt, cereals, fruit juice, bread, homemade jams and eggs of some sort. Croissants or pain au chocolate are also available. If staying on a catered basis then there is afternoon tea laid out for when you get back off the slopes with bread and jams plus one of Breezy's famous cakes. Tea and coffee making facilities are available when ever you need. Dinner is a 3 course set menu served with flowing house wine. What makes the chalet special is your hosts, Breezy and Al, who have been running the chalet for 20+ years and get to ski 5 days a week. Their local knowledge will help you make the most of your time in Chamonix.

Neighbourhood information

Ski Breezy is in a quiet residential area of Chamonix with amazing views on Mont Blanc. We are a flat 10 minute walk along the river into the town centre. Chamonix is a real town with an amazing history and some great shopping. There is a good public transport system to get around the valley so you don't need to drive. Having said that a car does give extra flexibility for getting about the ski areas and makes a day trip to Verbier, Courmayeur or St Gervais very easy (all included on the big area ski pass. There are museums and historical sights, climbing, ice climbing and sledging activities as well as skiing and snowboarding. The Montenvers cog train takes you up above the glaciers for amazing views as does the Aiguille du Midi lift which also has the glass floored viewing area and stunning views of Mont Blanc. There are clubs and bars as well as a swimming pool and fitness studio. Chamonix has something for everyone skiers and non skiers alike.
