Between the forest of Rennes and the Vilaine river, the ViaSilva district is being designed to adapt to ecological and natural areas in order to revive the landscape, preserve biodiversity and offer a calm and rejuvenating living environment. The name ViaSilva, or "the path to the forest" in Latin, is a reference to the Gallo-Roman site that was discovered during the archaeological excavations that preceded the construction of the eco-district. "Doma" refers to the flat's large terrace overlooking the neighbourhood. Once there, you can enjoy the green areas of the neighbourhood, its bicycle paths or relax on the terrace, while having the possibility to easily reach the whole area thanks to the Via Silva metro-bus station. We would like to inform our visitors that although Via Silva is the result of an eco-responsible project that started in 2010, the neighbourhood is still in its infancy and there are still construction sites in the area.
