    This was an apartment so we catered for ourselves but the kitchen facilities were excellent (apart from a lack of oven gloves!). Loved sitting out on the balcony and the beds were super comfy. Great en suite shower and bath.

Neighbourhood information

The seaside town of Shanklin is well served by public transport around the island with regular buses and the railway ‘Island Line’ to Ryde and Sandown. The main town is only a 15 minute walk and offers a multitude of shops, cafés, bars and restaurants to entertain all ages and tastes. During the summer months the seafront is bustling with people gathering at one of the many restaurants or choosing a favoured spot for swimming and sunbathing along the long, golden beach. There is a lot of fun to be had for all the family with a variety of traditional seaside amusements, including crazy golf, arcades and ice cream stalls. If you like exploring, then Shanklin Chine is a must; with its natural beauty surrounded by waterfalls, streams and rare plants.
