The bedrooms consist of a double and a bunk, along with a shower room. Outside, there is a front garden with seating, patio and gazebo, as well as ample off-road parking. Within 4.7 miles, you will find a shop, and within 0.8 miles, a pub, and please note that this is a non-smoking property. One well-behaved dog welcome at an additional fee; please arrange this upon booking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Penhow is a small, picturesque village in South Wales, located between Caldicot and Newport. The settlement has a convenience store, a restaurant (The Rock & Fountain), and a national nature reserve (Penhow Woodlands National Nature Reserve) in addition to its famous castle, which is often believed to be the oldest inhabited castle in all of Wales. A trip to Caldicot isn't too far away, and once there, you can enjoy the town's many restaurants and pubs, including the nearby Haywain and Cross Inn, as well as a variety of Chinese, Indian, and fish and chips takeout options. You can also enjoy a stroll through the nearby Brockwells Meadows, a look at the historic Caldicot Castle, and a performance at the nearby David Broome Event Centre.
