This is primarily a University and Hospital neighbourhood. There are students from both universities and professionals from the hospitals living side by side. With this, there are a variety of eateries and convenience stores nearby. Lidl - 10 min walk Tesco express store - 5 min walk Venus Turkish supermarket for all groceries - 4 min walk Venus Turkish informal restaurant (good priced hot food!) - 4 min walk Florida fried chicken (best fried chicken ever!!) - 5 min walk Next door to the apartment block there is an Italian restaurant and sheesha cafè. The Manchester Royal Infirmary, Manchester Childrens Hospital, Manchester Royal Eye Hospital are all a brisk ten minutes walk. The University of Manchester campuses are also nearby. The infamous 'Curry Mile' is a 12 min walk away, open all year round. There is a bus stop directly opposite the apartment block which has buses every ten minutes going into the city centre. All in all it is a brilliant location.
