Wallace Monument is nearby (3km) and the site of the Battle of Bannockburn (4km). Bus depot, taxi rank and train station app 700 yards away. Blair Drummond Safari park is also around 10 min drive from the apartment offering a fantastic family day out. Doune Castle (11km) and Kelpies / Falkirk wheel (17km) are also favourite attritions to visit. Just at the bottom of the road from the apartment is the oldest pub in Stirling called the Settle Inn, which holds regular live music and pub quizzes and is very atmospheric and welcoming. . Historic location just 2 minutes walk from Stirling Castle. Stirling City and the surrounding towns is steeped in history with many landmarks and sites to visit and explore. Wallace monument, Bannockburn Heritage Centre, the Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel and much much more. The neighbours are friendly and welcoming and have lived in the area for many years and local to Stirling . The garden grounds are kept neat and tidy and neighbours take pride in their surroundings.
