Set in leafy grounds, Holiday Inn York features a modern restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and is just a 5-minute walk from York Racecourse. The property offers ample free on-site parking and is only a 10 minutes' drive from York's historic centre. The bright and airy bedrooms have air conditioning and free WiFi. All rooms feature a work desk, tea/coffee facilities and a TV with satellite channels and on-demand movies. Junction Restaurant serves breakfast and a range of homely dishes. There is also a lounge bar and terrace serving Starbucks coffee. During nice weather, guests can enjoy walking into the centre which will take less than half an hour. There are several attractions along the way including Goddards House and Garden and Micklegate Bar. Holiday Inn York is just 500 metres from Askham Bar Park and Ride Bus Station, offering easy access with frequent buses to the city centre. The University of York campus is a 10 minutes’ drive away.
