The Clock House is a delightful self contained oak barn, newly converted to the highest standard, in the village of Wickhambreaux. We are in a small rural hamlet surrounded by farmland and opposite the Stodmarsh Nature Reserve.
The property is tastefully furnished with quality cookware, tableware, furniture and accessories. The accommodation comprises a spacious open plan lounge kitchen fitted with modern amenities and a comfortable leather double sofa bed. The modern bathroom has a walk-in rain shower, loo, basin and heated towel rail. The spacious bedroom has a luxurious king-size bed, spare pillows and covers, chest of drawers, and hanging rail. It has hairdryer, iron iron-board, extension lead, and fan. Upstairs there are 2 x singled 3ft beds suitable for either adults or children, and due to the sloping ceilings has limited storage and walking space. The outside patio/garden is a self-contained private area for guests to relax with rattan style furniture, chimenia and 'bring your own' disposable barbecue for al fresco dining.
There is an abundance of activities for both children and adults such as fishing, canoeing, golf, swimming, and cycling just to name a few.
We warmly welcome guests to stay at The Clock House and we do everything possible to ensure your trip is as enjoyable and memorable as possible. The property has been equipped with everything you need for a short one or two day stay to a few weeks.
If you are staying for a special event, maybe a birthday or anniversary, we'd be happy to help you celebrate and supply a surprise bottle of bubbles, banner, ballon or cake. Charges will apply.
We welcome pets and make a charge (please ask for further details) They need to be confirmed prior to booking as only small or medium size dogs allowed due to space restriction. Pets are not to be left unattended at anytime during your stay.
We have many interests and in particular love walking, cycling, the theatre plus many more hobbies.

There are award winning restaurants and pubs locally, The Fordwhich arms, The Dog at Wingham, The Pig at Bridge, The Sportsman in Seasalter, the Red Lion at Stodmarsh, and the Grove Ferry Inn which offers canoe hire, picnic area and live music.
The River Stour is a short walk away as it is the birdwatcher's paradise and naturalist's gem of Stodmarsh National Nature Reserve.
Many of the best beaches in England can be accessed at Whitstable, Broadstairs, Minnis Bay, Ramsgate and Herne Bay.
The City of Canterbury is a short drive away and parking is easily accessed. The world-famous and historic City of Canterbury is great for sightseeing and shopping, many restaurants are available, as well as river trips and the Marlowe theatre where many productions take place.
