Ideally located just 500 yards from the famous religious shrine in Knock Golden Rose House offers B&B accommodation on its own private grounds.Golden Rose House is the ideal accommodation option for those travelling to the town for a pilgrimage or travelling to Knock airport which is conveniently just 10 minutes drive away. Guests can enjoy a peaceful quiet nights sleep with all rooms en-suite and equipped with power showers, a television and Tea/coffee making facilities. The garden to the front has a view of the Shrine where guests can relax and on a clear day see Croagh Patrick For those travelling by car we have ample guest car parking and are conveniently just an hours drive from Galway city, Sligo and Connemara- making us the ideal base for those looking to explore the West of Ireland. While for those relying on public transport we are just 7 miles from Claremorris train station from which there is a shuttle service to Knock.There is a bus stop near the house for Bus Eireann Derry/Galway route 64.. A tasty grilled Irish breakfast is included in the price, with lighter continental options also on offer. Special dietary requirements are also catered for upon request.
Golden Rose House is situated over a hundred yards off the main Knock /Ballyhaunis road providing guests with a quiet location yet within a few minutes walk of the Shrine. From the large garden in front there is a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside with Croagh Patrick and Nephin mountain in the distance.
