Having an abundance of excellent produce in the Burren, as much ingredients are sourced locally as possible. The house has 8 spacious and impeccably presented bedrooms that can accommodate up to 20 guests. There is also a lovely dining room and beautifully appointed cosy residents lounge.

The lodge is located along the Wood Loop trail Admire County Clare’s famed limestone landscape on this pleasant 8.8km loop that crosses valley and woodland. Starting at the seaside village of Ballyvaughan, the route passes close to Aillwee Cave, the best known of the Burren’s many ancient geological sites. A 2 hour trail, Ballyvaughan - Wood Loop consists of minor roadways, surfaced and sandy roads, green lanes, lush woodland and cross country terrain.
