THE HOUSE - Galileo Galilei was born here in 1564. The Galileo Apartment, according to Google Maps, is 92 meters from his birthplace. It is in the heart of Pisa, with a strategic location. Around the corner, you'll find everything you need, from a supermarket to bars, restaurants, and pizzerias. The house is very quiet, even though it is in the historic city center, as many of our guests have noted. You can reach any point of interest within a few minutes on foot. The apartment is inside a building built in the 1600s, but completely renovated. The ceiling features ancient wooden beams and ceramic details. Furnished with new, modern pieces, curated in every detail. Includes a living room, well equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms, bathroom, and high-speed wi-fi. Netflix and coffee pods for an espresso. CULINARY AND HISTORICAL TOUR For those who arrive by car: the house is inside a "Traffic Limited Area" (ZTL). Parking is available at approximately 200 meters from the apartment and is for payment. We also offer an authentic guided tour and culinary experience, where guests can enjoy a relaxed tasting of local wines and traditional dishes. The experience is tailored to the needs and curiosities of the guest and offers various options. Our guide has many excellent reviews on other specialized sites. It is the San Francesco area. Restaurants, pizzerias and shops for daily food in the streets next door. The birthplace of Galileo Galilei is less than 100 meters away, so the theaters of the city, like the most important "Teatro Verdi". The Arno river is at the same distance. The house is next to one of the most beautiful and ancient squares in Pisa, Piazza della Berlina. You are 300 meters to Piazza Garibaldi, the meeting point of the city.
