We opened NARAigoto EENA HOUSE in 2016 and started to provide Japanese cultural experiences for tourists. We've started guest house business in 2019. We would like to offer our guests the best service and support their trip and hope they have enjoyable time here in Nara.

Our guesthouse is located in the old town called Nara-machi. There used to be many traditional wooden townhouses known as Machiya. Some of them are still preserved. Our guesthouse is one of them. We restored Machiya while keeping the original structure in order to provide you with a traditional Japanese experience with local atmosphere.This house is for only private use and has only one floor with Japanese style room​, shower room, washroom, sink and small garden. We hope you have a precious time in this cozy Japanese townhouse and your stay will be a memorable one. We also offer Japanese cultural experiences such as Tea ceremony, Japanese Calligraphy and Tagaki Yuzen (traditional Japanese dyeing technique）.We would like you to enjoy traditional cultural experiences in the historic atmosphere. There is a sink and some cooking facilities to prepare simple breakfasts. However this guest house is not equipped with gas stove for fire safety reason. There are many good local restaurants in this area so we will be happy to assist you in making a restaurant reservation if you want. We have mats, qibla compass, worship hat and worship clothes (for female) for Muslim people.

Our guesthouse is located in the old town called Nara-machi. Following places are within walking distance. Todai-ji Temple, Kofuku-ji Temple, Gango-ji Temple, Kasuga Taisha Shrine, Isuien Garden, Nara Park, Wakakusa-yama mountain, Kasugayama Primeval Forest It takes about 30 to 40 mins to visit Yakushi-ji Temple, Toshodai-ji Temple and Horyu-ji Temple.
