This family accommodation is situated on the ground floor of a waterfront villa in Amsterdam. The property is located 12 minutes from the historical centre of Amsterdam. Local points of interest like Amsterdam Arena and Carre Theatre are reachable within 6 km. The apartment is equipped with a private entrance, seating area, coffee machine, microwave and fridge. Large sliding glass doors provide access to a floating terrace and a beautiful garden. Free parking and WiFi are available. Guests can also make use of the two-person canoe for free. Anne Frank House and Van Gogh Museum are both 9 km from the property while IJburg shopping centre is just around the corner. A beach is accessible 10 minutes away. The nearest airport is Schiphol Airport, 16 km from the accommodation.

This unique rustic place at the waterfront on the ground floor has its own private entrance. From the floating terrace you can take a dive into the water to refresh after being a long day in the historic city center, which is just 15 minute away. You can also use our canoe to explore the surroundings or even come to visit us with your own boat! We have a beautiful garden with a seating area and wood stove. The room is very modern and decorated with Dutch Design
We (Jan & Marjolein) are both designers and have our own design label: DOGGERdesign. We like to shape our environment as pleasantly as possible. Jan also likes to design gardens and Marjolein makes designs for theatre, musical and interior design. Since 2017 we have 'ROOM WITH A FEW' and we really enjoy to meet people of all over the world. So we do hope to meet you at our unique and lovely place.
Our neighborhood is unique in Amsterdam! Close to the historic center, yet quiet to have a wonderful holiday. IJburg is a modern district and very green, lots of water and canals where you can swim, 2 beaches and a large park. Tennis courts, walking and cycling routes, football fields and playgrounds. There is a harbor with restaurants and terraces, takeaways and a shopping center where you can get everything. On Saturday there is a market with fresh products.
