Welcome to our little escape home! Only a short 10minute walk to the beautiful beach 'Praia da Rocha' in Portimão; this spacious clean 2 bedroom apartment is also equipped with 2 bathrooms and has an additional sofabed to sleep comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped with your essentials and you even enjoy sitting out on the balcony and enjoy breakfast before you start your day or a drink in the evening as you unwind from your day at the beach or sightseeing. Our place is in a quiet area of Portimão and there is plenty of street parking but we do offer a private parking spot if requested in the building garage. Please be sure to communicate this in your request so we can ensure to leave the garage remote available and provide you with directions. We will not be available when you check in however, you will be able to communicate with our co-host Sandra and António as soon as you book to anytime during of your stay. Sandra and António will be sure to offer you the best experience while staying in our apartment. They will assure you will be provided with complete details prior to your check-in and coordinate your check-out as well.

Portimão was traditionally a centre for shipbuilding, sardine fishing and fish processing. Today, most of that industry has been replaced by tourism, leisure and retail, leaving Portimão as a larger residential city in the Algarve region. Portimão has an all-round relaxed atmosphere and you can enjoy it all year round. Portimão also has excellent public transportation connections, with both bus and rail services connecting the city with the entire western Algarve region. Near the apartment you can enjoy great little cafe's and shops and there is also a nearby shopping center with a grocery store only 5min by car (2km) called Continente, Portimão. Don't forget to explore along the boardwalk of Portimão where you will be able to enjoy some great Gelato's and traditional portuguese cuisine and pastries. Getting around: If you choose to travel by train / charter coach bus the terminals are only an Uber / taxi ride of 10min (4km) to the apartment. During the low season (October - March) recommend that you can walk or drive the beach as parking can easily be found near the main beach (Praia da Rocha); during peak season it is recommended to walk down since parking is limited.
