The team of Atholl House has a vast background – all of us have been in the hospitality industry for several years. We come from different countries and backgrounds – Malawi, Zimbabwe, Germany, and South Africa. Each of our team members brings their individual skill set and strengths to the success of Atholl House. Please remember that you might feel like at a hotel –, however, as we are such a small team, we still operate as a guest house (meaning, we are not available 24/7 but within dedicated hours).

Property information

Atholl House is a 5-Star luxury guest house. With three uniquely decorated rooms (Beach, Ocean & Palms), guests get to enjoy the intimacy and relaxation of a private home, with the convenience and care provided by a small, dedicated team. After a few days, we are like a family, and our greatest wish is to make you feel welcome in the place we love most. Atholl House is located on the mountainside of the iconic Camps Bay strip. The entire house has been recently renovated using the latest in eco-luxe innovation and technology, and it shines through every feature.

Neighbourhood information

Camps Bay is an exclusive beach front suburb on the Atlantic Seaboard of the stunning Cape Peninsula. Known for its white sandy beaches, upmarket restaurants and trendy café's, Camps Bay is very central. At the slopes of Lion's Head and the Table Mountain National Park mountain range, Camps Bay does not only offers a stunning natural environment, but also a convenient and safe location from which to explore the city. It is a short walk to the beach (15 minutes), it's also a short 30-minute drive to Cape Town International airport, and a 15-minute hop over the mountain to the Waterfront and CBD. We're always happy to give our guests local insight into the bounty of incredible activities and experiences on offer in the area. The quiet suburb and private amenities of the guest house also make it easy to spend an entire day at the pool.
