We went to the restaurant next door to check in and collected our key. The manager was very polite and helpful. Although the restaurant was full he found a table for us for dinner. It was very good. We enjoyed the room also. It was helpful to have read earlier reviews that there was no lift. It was no problem for us.

Family that runs this place is very friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect. We only stayed one night but this place is worth staying for longer, very nice little village. Apartment was clean and well equipped, we did not miss anything, easy parking. Breakfast was just perfect.

Gasthof Bögl is set in Hilpoltstein, 30 km from Nürnberg and 47 km from Erlangen. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. The location is excellent, close to major roads, in the vicinity of Nuremberg. The accommodation is comfortable, the new part of the hotel is excellent. The staff is friendly, gives clear instructions for later check-in. The breakfast is ok, not too much choice but everything is fine. I would definitely return to this hotel.
