Where to start? OK, let's start with the accommodation. It's a house with rooms and we had a bathroom in our room. Very clean, very comfortable. The house offers private parking as this is very important for us with a motorcycle. Now about the host. If you want to feel at home and even better, you gotta visit this place and meet Aleš, the owner. He will show you the kitchen, the living room, the garden and het to know you with the great jacuzzi in the yard. Big TV screens with great audio support and plenty of freedom to feel just like home. Enjoying a quiet location 3 km from the centre of Ljubljana, Vila Minka is a family-run ApartHotel set close to the A2 motorway. The property is situated about 4 km from the city center, which ensures quiet surroundings. We came to the hotel in an emergency situation and the host allowed us to stay in our room even after check-out hours. Also, the host was very easy-going and gave us many tips on how to get to the center and where to shop for groceries. The room we stayed in was beautiful, the kitchenette was well equipped (fridge, silverware, tupperware, kettle, stove). The room was airconditioned and even had a terrace with a view.

Everything about this apartment was great. There is private parking in front of the apartment, the accommodation is clean, new and fully equipped (cooking surface, oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine...). It looks exactly like in the pictures. The owner is nice, he was interested if we are satisfied. He cleaned up the terrace after a night storm. In general, the apartment is right in the center of a small town where you can find everything you need for a quiet stay. We appreciated the proximity to the highway where in a few minutes you are on your way north, south or west.

Ready to help and very friendly. Complimentary champagne and fruit upon arrival. Fresh flowers and live herbs in kitchen as well as bread and jams for morning toast. Coffee machine full of whole beans and milk to make lattes. Jacuzzi and sauna were life savers after long travel. So many plants fill apartment with rich oxygen giving best sleep on super comfy bed. Couldn’t be better. Excellent stay. All will Enjoy and pets welcome as owners are warm and welcoming to all walks of life. XO
