Situated right on Vienna's main shopping street Mariahilfer Straße, Hotel MOTTO occupies an impressive historic building next to the Neubaugasse stop of the U3 metro line.

Location was perfect for shopping and next to the U-bahn. Cleanliness of the rooms and facilities was 5star. One of the best hotels we stayed in and will be our go-to hotel when we next visit Vienna

Design & Ambiance - very welcoming and clean
The Room - very spacious and modern (excellent walk in shower)
Most of the staff were extremely helpful
Pigment Restaurant - top food & service
Nice evening bar atmosphere
Special mention and a word of appreciation to the staff for providing me with a mini-refrigerator far better than their standard minibar one, to be able to store my medication. Well Done!
Would definitely choose the Indigo once again 😊
Hotel Schani Salon is a small 4-star hotel right on Mariahilfer Straße, Vienna’s biggest and liveliest shopping street. The Ringstraße boulevard is a 10-minute walk away.

Once we found the hotel we were pleased with access onto the main shopping road. We like smaller hotels and this fitted the bill exactly.

Great decor great location attentive and flexible staff
Schönbrunn Palace
With 1441 rooms, Schönbrunn Palace was made for sleepovers. Originally intended as a hunting lodge, visitors can revel in the 17th-century luxury of the Habsburg monarchs, to whom the word ‘opulence’ meant very little. The extensive gardens include the fabulous Gloriette (Franz Josef’s breakfast room) and Tiergarten Schönbrunn, the world’s oldest zoo.

The evening concert was great, but I suggest you don’t purchase it with the dinner included. Go to dinner on your own. There’s a nice little Italian restaurant across the street that was just delightful…and, please have some of their home made ice cream.

Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna is like stepping into a fairy tale. The building is stunning, and the gardens are like something out of a dream.
It's got a really interesting history because it used to be a royal summer home.
The tour inside the palace is great, and you can learn all about the people who lived there. Plus, it's in a good location, so you can easily get to other cool stuff in Vienna.
The people who work there are friendly and helpful, and they give you a headset so you can explore at your own pace. Basically, if you're in Vienna, you've got to check out Schönbrunn Palace – it's a magical place filled with history and beauty.

We arrived there at 4 o'clock, convinced that everything would be open. But we were wrong. We could only see the state apartments (basically 3 or 4 rooms). I suggest you go earlier to have a proper tour of the palace. however, I think the real beauty of Schönbrunn are the majestic gardens and the Neptune fountain, the Gloriette and (literally) the forest around it.

We didn't get the tour, but we did the VR experience, which is a well produced show giving the history of the palace and of the Austrian monarchy.

My expectations were disappointed: nothing special, you can see (architecturally not historically) similar buildings in other European cities (Nymphenburg schloss for example and many others) . In my opinion: overrated
The garden is very beautiful

The gardens are beautiful, the palace in itself is underwhelming and I would even go as far as saying disappointing and overpriced for sure. Not a must see inside, but definitely go and admire the park, the hill and the surroundings of the Palace.
