The parliament was closed for massive maintenance works, and could not be visited. A virtual visit was proposed (free of charge, admittedly), but it was only so-so. Any future visitors should check that the real parliament has been reopened

It truly is majestic as the seat for a national government. We should all be very proud. On this visit, we simply viewed its majesty from different directions, however, in last visits the tour of the buildings is daunting.

The room was simply enormous, more like a small apartment really, with a well equipped kitchenette and a lounge diner. There was a good selection at breakfast but you need to get there early as it soon gets very busy. Lots of great bars and restaurants nearby.
