Each unit is fitted with air conditioning, private bathroom and a kitchenette including a fridge. Some units feature a terrace and/or a patio. I loved everything about our High Falls cabin. It was clean, comfortable, spacious and best of all, quiet and quaint. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. The proprietors were friendly and helpful. I’ll tell everyone I know, who is headed in this direction, to book a cabin at High Falls. I wish I could have stayed a week! It was the best stay in a week of lodging rentals.

Guestrooms are air conditioned and decorated with local art and local handmade furniture. Rooms are soundproofed and offer a microwave and tea- and coffee-making facilities. A private bathroom is also included. Everything. It was super clean. Elizabeth and her son were fantastic hosts - helpful, accommodating and friendly. The patio area was a gem for evening sunset viewing and morning coffee. They were super helpful with the use of their bbq too. Overall it’s top notch, conveniently located near the highway, but far enough back away from it. The town of Manitowaning is really peaceful, and the beach is a 2min drive from the motel. It is a short drive to Sheguiandah and Little Current as well as South Baymouth (ferry terminal). As a former resident of Little Current, returning home for a visit, I discovered Manitowaning from a new perspective and found it to be an amazing little place to stay. Can’t say enough about the Wayside and the owners.

Downtown Napanee is less than 5 minutes’ drive from the motel. Napanee Golf and Country Club is 2 km away. Absolutely spotless. Very comfortable beds and in a great location near to the town centre , with the added bonus of a cafe across from the motel. Plenty of parking.

In the winter, guests can enjoy the snowmobile trail that goes directly by the motel. Our room was absolutely spotless and decorated very nicely. Lots of space in our room. Almost a "classy" feel to it. It was nice to have the trees around us and a couple walking trails. Even though the highway was close, you didn't hear it. Very cozy feeling. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
