The unit (#19) was so cute and was just as pictured online. The windows were able to be open and the door had a screen door so we could leave the hard door open to enjoy the mountain air. It was the cleanest motel I've ever stayed in. Our unit was right by the creek and we were able to sleep with the windows open and listen to the water, it was amazing. The staff was very friendly.

Rivers Edge Motel is located in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains, 2.7 km from Harrah's Casino. All rooms feature panoramic views of the Oconaluftee River. Typical motel on the road near all Cherokee attractions and shops. The balcony overlooking the Oconaluftee River is very relaxing and we were able to sleep with the balcony door open without AC, which we really enjoyed. We went to the open air theater and the Cherokee village, the Qualla shop has authentic handicrafts, the others sell Chinese stuff.

The room was exactly as pictured online. The bed and bathroom were very clean and the room had all the amenities we needed. Would definitely stay again!

It was a lovely place for myself and my grandsons to spend some time away from home. I would recommend it to anyone anyone.
