No matter where we went, this property had the best view of Fuji. The buffet breakfast was great. The rooms were clean and spacious and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Traditionally, onsens were located outdoors but a number of hotels also offer indoor facilities for private or shared use. The healing properties of each onsen will vary depending on its location, with ‘kuroyu’ black water known for its positive effects on skin.

breakfast is good, not mind blowingly good but good and plentiful. Room is very clean and very bright. I like the cleaninless of the room. And private onsen is nice too. Unfortunately there is not much amenities in the hotel. If this is a different ryokan (japanese hotel), they may have other public baths where you can try different baths with different views which makes staying in the hotel more amenable. We're bored staying in the hotel with nothing to do. So we are kind of forced to explore the area.
The hotel provides full Japanese ryokan experience! The view on both sides (lake or Mt. Fuji) is breathtaking. It is a good getaway place from Tokyo for 1-2 nights. The hotel provides the option to book for 1 hour a family/private onsen room with views on Mt. Fuji, this is an experience I will not forget.
The staff was very welcoming and took amazing care of us. The meals we had were amazing as well. Some of the most fancy and delicious food I've ever eaten. Our waiter Aki-san was amazing and very friendly. We had an amazing service by him. This was by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The room with the private onsen was totally worth it. Room had amazing facilities and the service was exceptional. Highly recommended this ryokan. The absolute highlight of our trip.
This luxurious Ryokan was the perfect getaway from busy Tokyo and an excellent spa-retreat after a long hike in one. The staff spoke good English and was very helpful. We would highly recommend booking a private dinner in your room for at least one night where you'll get overwhelmed by the enormous diversity of the Japanese cuisine. We booked a private Onsen for 1 hour where we could catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji, but the public Onsen and rooftop footbath are already well worth this Ryokan experience.
You can choose to include meals in your stay, which I strongly recommend. This Hotel also provided FREE shuttle service from 3pm - 7pm from Lake Kawaguchiko Bus Station, and morning Shuttle to bus station from 8am - 10am. This Hotel is located just near to Yagizaki Park, which is a great spot for photos of Mt Fuji, strongly recommend. Oh and did I mention the Hot Springs in the Hotel is really awesome, they have indoor and outdoor Onsen/Hot Springs.
Excellent breakfast with a view to Mt. Fuji 🤗 Excellent kaiseki dinner impressed so much! Onsen hot spring bathing facilities very good! Room size is excellent with a resting corner and with a view to Mt. Fuji. Yukata was so nice to wear.
-Located next to Lake Kawaguchiko, if the sky is clear, you can see Mount Fuji from your room or in front of the Ryokan
-Staffs are very very friendly, attentive and speaks fluent English
-Room size is great and Futon is very comfortable
-Free Parking lot
-There are onsen (hot spring) provided in the ryokan (Gender separated)
-Breakfast comes with a Japanese set, very delicious and beautiful presentation
The room very clean, spacious, dinner was great, hospitality great and the stuff very friendly. Public onsen with Mt fuji view. Tried their private onsen as well, excellent ryokan
An incredible ryokan experience, highly recommend. Great location next to Fuji scenic ropeway and on the lakeshore. Our room had a beatiful view of mt fuji too. Staff were excellent, parking easy, entire property very clean and well kept. Dinner served in your room is an experience in itself, and of the ryokans we visited it was easily the tastiest one. There is a private onsen o wth a very nice view over the lake.
Being that this is my first time staying at a ryokan, this one exceeded my expectations.
The rooms were very clean and cozy, having a private onsen just outside of the room is the main highlight of the stay. The onsen is right outside on the deck with trees surrounding it, it creates a soothing and tranquil experience.
We arranged a pick-up from Kawaguchiko station, the staff are amazing and friendly, communication wasn't a problem as some of them are fluent in English.
