ReLabo -Medical Spa & Stay- features a fitness centre, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Aomori. The rooms are large and very well appointed including a coffee machine. The breakfast includes local products, including apples and salmon. Spa area is amazing, the onsen great. Staff is very friendly, even if not everyone speaks English, they try to help as much as they can. Great views of the city and bridge

Situated in Senboku and only 15 km from Nyuto Hot Spring, Kashintei Shirahama features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property is facing a beautiful lake and it’s a relaxing setting for those busy people coming to decompress there. They have outdoor and indoor, private Onsen ofurô, and the room was wide and spacious, including areas such as bathroom and shower, with separation of spaces, providing privacy. The eating/working room was across from the room which allowed my husband to read and check emails without distractions. All in all it’s a well thought space setting. Kudos to the architect.

24 km from Chuson-ji Temple in Oshu, フォレストコテージ奥州 provides accommodation with access to a sauna, hot spring bath and open-air bath. The air-conditioned accommodation is 25 km from Motsuji Temple. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Forest Cottage Oshu. It was the perfect winter getaway - cozy and wholesome! There was snow everywhere and it felt so magical! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped. We enjoyed the nearby onsen, which is free if you stay at one of the cottages. When we came back from the onsen in the evening, the staff started a bonfire outside that just enhanced the magical atmosphere. We found a couple of sweet potatoes in a plastic bag hung at our door handle and fully enjoyed roasting them in the bonfire. Such an amazing stay!
