Support from the host family, who also lives in the house The location is ideal, with car one can easily drive all over the Black Forest and even go to Colmar in France. It is quiet at night and beds are comfortable.

This is our second stay with Tatjana and Ludwig, this time with kids. Gruner Baum is the perfect spot in the the Black Forest and everything about it, from the clean and comfortable rooms, the view of the forest and the delicious breakfast, are unmatched. Tatjana and Ludwig are gracious, entertaining and funny. They were always available to help with anything we needed. Highly recommended for couples or families. Tatjana, next time will be sooner than 11 years!

    Beautiful hotel with a classical touch. Our room was spacious (junior suite), bed very comfortable, little balcony facing the back yard, bathroom a little dated with a sink drain issue. Breakfast great, dinner a little pretencious. Spacious hotel parking, beautiful surroundings. Staff very nice and helpful.

    The hotel locates just by the road, easy to be found and easy parking. It is near Tittisee, the scenery between Tittisee and the hotel is super. Our room has a great view, with a vast and beautiful grass landscape. The family room has two rooms, which are separated by a wall. Although the room is by the road, it is quiet when closing the windows. The receptionists are of great help.
