We had booked as was going to a party in Neston and this was the closet to it. When we arrived staff was very helpful even with it being a Sunday and was serving, even got us a taxi so could get back to Neston. When it was over we headed back and managed to get some food at the night time. We both had a steak and it was beautiful and staff again very helpful. The room was very comfortable, little warm during the night so had to open the heavy window a jar to let some air in. Bed very comfortable (twin). Room and bathroom very clean

Greeted on arrival by 2 lovely owners. As soon as I walked in I felt relaxed I was asked about my day/journey. I was taken to a lovely downstairs double room which was immaculate. A lovely clean warm room with clean towels and a kettle with a choice of tea or coffee. There was a folder welcome pack with clear Information. Nothing was too much trouble although they do not provided food when asked of what was in the area I was given a Takeaway menu and offered plate and cutlery. I had a good comfortable nights sleep. Gateway Lodge is just a 10 minute walk straight down to John Lennon Airport. I recommend Gateway Lodge not just it's convenience but would happily come back again. Thank You

Location a little away from any main facilities, but quiet and plenty of parking available. A little dated in decor but understand recently has new owners who intend to freshen up the decor in time. Good value for money, fits the budget allowance I have with my company.
