Van der Valk Hotel Gent is a stone's throw from the city centre, close to both the E17 and E40 motorways. The hotel design is amazing, very large room, we had 2 large beds, breakfast delicious and quality good, warm atmosfere, definitely I would choose it again ❤️

Everything was perfect.The hotel it is the old post. Entering through the door timetravel begins. Rooms perfect. Breakfast perfect. Location perfect. The Boatel is a great place to stay in Gent. It is very peaceful on the river. The owner has created a very special place with just a few rooms and does a great job explaining about the boatel and providing tourist information. The room was more spacious than I anticipated, considering that it is on a boat. I loved the ducks and geese swimming right up to the windows! Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with fresh bread from the local bakery and homemade berry jam, among other things.
