Take a trip on a Sunday morning to one of the local churches to listen to the harmonious Polynesian Choirs, it's incredible. Perfect sea in every possible shade of blue, soft white sand beaches and amongst some of the most amazing dive sites on planet earth. Napoleon Wrasse, Eagle Rays and Hawksbill Turtles, The reef system will stay etched in my mind forever. Perfect for solo travellers wanting to meet like minded people and wishing to get away from the more touristy side of the Pacific, Aitutaki Budget Accommodation is the only place to go! Exclusively situated on its own private island, this luxury resort offers the only overwater bungalows in the Cook Islands, offering prime views of Aitutaki Lagoon, one of the world’s most beautiful... I truly loved everything: the location, the staff, the accommodations, the activities in the resort and those outside the resort(recommended by the staff) ... Everything!

Well fitted out with everything we needed, great big verandah, comfortable bed! Great beach nearby but shallow, short walk to deeper one. Vaea was very friendly and welcoming, and took us on a quick tour on arrival and to the shop (fresh fruit was provided in the bungalow ).
