Our first time to Tournus in the Bourgogne area, a lovely and obviously quite affulent town. We were there early Jan, post the New Year so a number of restaurants were closed, which is common across France this time of year. Caesar gave us clear instructions on where to park, we used the free public parking and got a space very close to the apartment but imagine it may not be the same during peak holiday periods.

The location for us as cyclists was ideal being so close to the Eurovelo 6 route. The adjacent bar direct by the Loire was excellent and reasonably priced.

We got a genuine insight into the daily life of the host, making the entire stay personal and memorable. Every morning we were treated to a delicious breakfast, prepared with fresh and local ingredients. This was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our stay. The location itself was breathtakingly beautiful. Surrounded by natural beauty, it provided a serene and relaxing environment.

The place deserves you to stay as long as you can as you will need time to appreciate every detail and its dreamy atmosphere. Breakfast is amazing, great quality and variety, definitely recommended. Location is beautiful and well connected, it depends what you are looking for though and you will need your car. The hosts were amazing, very nice and attentive and super helpful with any of our requests, also they are amazing cooks! We were in touch since before we arrived and they gave us plenty of advice. Their taste and attention to details is reflected in every corner of the property and you do feel like you are in a different world, the ideal place to recharge your batteries.
