Situated in Azé, in a historic building, 18 km from Mâcon Exhibition Centre, La GRANGE D'AZE is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and garden. What a gem! We just needed a stopover on the way to the Apls, but despite the reasonable price this felt like part of the holiday. The building itself has so much history with beautiful big beams and turrets in the grounds. Our hosts showed us before and after pics of the renovation and also had a meal available for just 15 Euros per adult, several courses, local produce - everything was so much better than expected and super charming. You can tell they take lots of pride in their property and cannot do enough to make your stay there comfortable and charming. The large mezzanine lounge had Netflix for the kids. there were little candles on the beds. lots of little details that made it all so lovely.

Situated in Tournus, Rez de chaussée appartement à Tournus - Yellow is a recently renovated accommodation, 34 km from Mâcon Exhibition Centre and 27 km from Nicéphore-Niépce Museum. Caesar was a great host, very responsive and checked that we arrived ok and if we had any questions. Our first time to Tournus in the Bourgogne area, a lovely and obviously quite affulent town. We were there early Jan, post the New Year so a number of restaurants were closed, which is common across France this time of year. Caesar gave us clear instructions on where to park, we used the free public parking and got a space very close to the apartment but imagine it may not be the same during peak holiday periods.

Featuring a terrace, Villa Pona is located in Digoin in the Burgundy region, 34 km from Le Pal Park. The staff were uniformly professional and helpful. The head waiter for dinner was terrific and the dinner was truly exceptional! The location for us as cyclists was ideal being so close to the Eurovelo 6 route. The adjacent bar direct by the Loire was excellent and reasonably priced.

The hospitality was truly exceptional. It felt like staying with friends rather than in a commercial accommodation. A real glimpse into someone's home: The experience was unique and authentic. We got a genuine insight into the daily life of the host, making the entire stay personal and memorable. Every morning we were treated to a delicious breakfast, prepared with fresh and local ingredients. This was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our stay. The location itself was breathtakingly beautiful. Surrounded by natural beauty, it provided a serene and relaxing environment.

Extremely welcoming and beautifully decorated, we felt pampered right from the beginning. The place deserves you to stay as long as you can as you will need time to appreciate every detail and its dreamy atmosphere. Breakfast is amazing, great quality and variety, definitely recommended. Location is beautiful and well connected, it depends what you are looking for though and you will need your car. The hosts were amazing, very nice and attentive and super helpful with any of our requests, also they are amazing cooks! We were in touch since before we arrived and they gave us plenty of advice. Their taste and attention to details is reflected in every corner of the property and you do feel like you are in a different world, the ideal place to recharge your batteries.

Great stay at Estelles...attention to detail very thoughful...fridge, kettle toiletries etc. A lovely spacious room. We found it a little difficult to locate after a long journey Maybe us?!.. specific directions could be good?-'what 3 things'..but, many thanks Estelle you are a super host!
