Featuring a terrace, a restaurant as well as a bar, Babbity Bowsters is set in the centre of Glasgow, less than 1 km from Glasgow Cathedral. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the incomparable Rebecca, who was the most incredible host. It was simply the best, most relaxed and friendly places I’ve ever stayed.

Located in Newton Mearns in Glasgow, Southside district, Parklands Hotel & Country Club is 10 miles from Glasgow city centre. The receptionist (Ron! Give this man a raise please) is the kindest, funniest and most lovely Scot I came across here, maybe even the most lovely person of the UK, we had such a warm welcome by him, definitely an amazing way to kick off your stay! The other staff is also very very helpful and amongst the kindest I’ve ever come across in my years of traveling. Well that is just the beginning, now come the rooms. The decor is absolutely amazing, super warm and cozy. The bed is absurdly comfortable and big and the bathroom is extremely clean and modern. The corridors are clean and look very safe because they’re well equipped with a lot of firedoors, there’s carpet and look very safe and cozy just like the room.

Auchendennan FarmSelf Catering Cottages offers a beautiful setting in Arden, a short walk from the shores of Loch Lomond and only 2 miles from Balloch. Lovely cottage with a fantastic view and a fireplace in the Ivy Cottage. Pet friendly place, my golden retriever love it. Super cute and nice for a couple and comfortable.

Within a tree-lined Victorian terrace, this 5-star boutique hotel is located in the fashionable West End, only 30 minutes' drive from Loch Lomond. The hotel is immaculate. Very professional staff.

Set in Balloch and only 27 km from Glasgow Botanic Gardens, Argyll Apartment Loch Lomond offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Very clean and quiet. It was pleasure to stay overnight. Nice comfortable beds.

Located 29 km from Glasgow Botanic Gardens, Skyline Lodge Loch Lomond Castle Lodges offers accommodation with a patio. Loved all the little extra touches, a fully equipped kitchen to cook. Two bathrooms and two options in the shower. Just the little bit extra in every way, exceptional.

Located in Inverkip and only 44 km from Ibrox Stadium, Langhouse Castle Bed and Breakfast provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Staying in a small castle with hosts who couldn't do enough for you was a wonderful way to spend a couple of days. Lorna and Gordon had so much food choice for breakfast we wished we'd had bigger appetites.

Situated 29 km from Glasgow Botanic Gardens, Garden Room Lodges features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The welcome was wonderful, the accommodations incredibly nice, and the location was beautiful!! We loved everything about this stay. Only wished we could have stayed longer.
