The guesthouse and the neighborhood are amazing. The owner is one of the nicest and warmest people I have met. The bed was even nicer than that of a much more expensive ryokan. The train ride to the guesthouse was scenic, the location of the accommodation is perfect, the eateries nearby are all good. The place itself was spotless with a really nice shower room. Everything was perfect. I can't recommend it enough.

JR Kochi İstasyonu'nun kuzey çıkışına yürüyerek 12 dakika veya otobüsle 3 dakika uzaklıkta yer alan Katsuo Guest House, klimalı Japon tarzı yatakhaneler sunmaktadır. Maki-san was really friendly. Upon greeting, she showed me around the building. As I came late, I was planning to make a 30 minute walk to Kochi castle. Maki-san told me she was going around the area and offered me a ride which I'm truly grateful for. Bunk beds are large and have small shelves to keep items close. Absolutely loved how the walls, bed frames and literally almost everything was made of wood. A very warm feeling. Walkable from Kochi station, it's location is also convenient

The members of this family are the nicest, not only did they pick me up at the trainsation on arrive l, but on the day of departure, they drove me all the way to Kochi and not to the closest trainstation 😯. Situated in Shimanto and only 7 km from Dragonfly Nature Park, さんいんどう features accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking. My partner and I loved this house! We were greeted by Seiko who gave us the key and she was the perfect host during our stay. The house is a renovated akiya and it has been done to such a high standard! It is so comfortable and we had a really great time! There is also a really cute coffee shop next door and the lady who runs it sells great coffee and food, and is really friendly! The location is fantastic as it is so close to the nature in the region in order to get out and explore! We had a motorcycle and it was great to be located on the edge of the city so that we could head out on adventures! All in all, I would 100% recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants a comfortable stay in Shimanto City!

Great place for a large family or group of friends. Wish we had stayed longer so we could take advantage of the sauna and the fire pit. Wonderful to see the sun rise over the sea in the morning. Very clean and all you need for a self catering stay. The futons were very comfy.
