Located in Gojō, the recently renovated お宿さつき奈良五條 offers accommodation 29 km from Subaru Hall and 37 km from Tanpi Shrine. Beautiful property and the host was amazing. He was so nice and gave amazing recommendations. He called a restaurant to make a reservation for which he recommended and it was one of the best yakiniku places we’ve been to. We also went out to a karaoke bar with him and we had a great time! It was a nice property but the host made the experience even better!

Mountain Home Lodge in Deer Park is situated in the Nara Park district of Nara, 3.3 km from Nara Station and 20 km from Iwafune Shrine. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the property. The facilities were amazing, mini kitchen, washing machine, bath and shower and lots of space, at least when traveling alone. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and gave some great tips of where to see the sunset and for an early morning walk. Great experience.

Offering a garden and garden view, Guesthouse Tamura is situated in Nara, 1.7 km from Nara Station and 19 km from Iwafune Shrine. The location of the facility is great, watching the deers from the balcony in the evenings was an unforgettable experience for me. The landlady is very polite and helpful. I can say that I enjoyed staying in this house the most during my Japan trip. As a Mediterranean person in Japan, the things I had the most difficulty with were the difficulties in communicating and the feeling of loneliness. But this house offers a friendly atmosphere Additionally, the people of Nara are very friendly and warm-hearted. For me, Nara was very enjoyable in every aspect.

Kotono yado Musashino offers accommodation in Nara, and is located a 11-minute drive from Nara Station on the Kintetsu Nara Line. All staff are very tentative, friendly, and so welcoming. The property is situated close to the park within a walking distance and up on the hill, so you get a good view of a sunset. The food was beautifully plated, all the dishes taste very good and you can tell that it’s from attention to details.

Wakasa Annex features an outdoor hot public bath and free WiFi. Other facilities include a 24-hour reception, drinks vending machines and free parking. Todai-ji Temple is only an 8-minute walk. A very comfortable tatami-mat room with a deep full soak tub. The location in regards to Nara Park was fantastic and I had a wonderful view of Tōdai-ji in the mornings. Things were very quiet, the staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was everything it could be including walking me through all the amenities they had to offer. They also provided local area maps with all the main attractions and let me know how best to navigate what I wanted to do which helped quite a bit with planning how I spent my time.

Featuring 1-star accommodation, Hotobil B&B 潤 An inn that enjoys breakfast is located in Nara, 2.1 km from Nara Station and 21 km from Iwafune Shrine. Authentic and cosy ryokan experience. The host is a really nice lady who speaks good English and is a great cook. Breakfast was delicious! Futons was sooo comfortable that we had trouble getting out of. The kotatsu table was a nice and cosy addition as well! Wish we had a longer stay 🥰

The accommodation facility of Gyokuzoin Temple features a hot public bath. The hotel is located in Mount Shigisan and houses a souvenir shop and drinks vending machines. The most incredible setting!The room was absolutely gorgeous, the food was delicious and the service exceptional!

A 12-minute walk from the Kintetsu Nara Train Station, Hotel New Wakasa offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Our room was well designed with the Japanese style, our bed was made for us after dinner. It was very comfortable. The staff was helpful and extremely friendly. Lovely time!
