A good location for a relaxing stay in Bidiyah, Milky Way Domes is a campground surrounded by views of the garden. Amazing staff who were very friendly and polite. Buffet breakfast and dinner were great! We had a stargazing lesson after dinner. Night sky was absolutely stunning. Plenty of activities for couples and families - dune bashing, camel riding, sand boarding, deeper desert tour, etc. Dome was very private, very clean and quiet. The domes and cottages are also well spaced out so yu get to enjoy more peace in the desert. We look forward to coming back and staying here.

Nomad inn Tiwi in Ḩillat al Ḩişn provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool and a terrace. The accommodation provides room service and luggage storage space for guests. What an oasis! Grounds and room are just beautiful. one of the best we had in Oman. This place doesnt have enough reviews. Pool, rooms, grounds? Fantastic. But the host is the best. Very honest. You’re just down the road from wadi tiwi. You’ll need 4x4 to get to it. We didnt have this on our to do list but they told us we should go and they mentioned a guide. We drove up and got picked up suddenly by a local guide. Next thing we know we’re carving our way down a hill through gardens and trees holding onto guide chains, and scrambling down walls. Then we get the most beautiful wadi and a leisurely swim through the pools with almost no one around. Just us, our guide, and another passing group of 3. We end up having to do some rick climbing out which was wild but we could have gone the way we came. Our guide had us the whole way. Pop up at the parking lot where ALL of the other tourist are and have no idea what we’ve seen. We paid the man 25 rial and it was worth every penny. The nomad Inn made this happen. Absolutely amazing day. Top travel moment of our lives. Book this inn. You wont regret it.

Clean, air-conditioned (life or death in June), responsive host - took us dune smashing and was incredibly personable - came back to drag us out when I got stuck in the sand.

Situated in Bidiyah in the Al Sharqiyah region, Rashid Desert Private Camp has a balcony. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Rashid, the owner, is a wonderful host. He has received us with great hospitality. We appreciated good food, committed staff, interesting talks during dinner. A very pleasant stay all in all!

Situated in Dawwah in the Al Sharqiyah region, Wadi Bani Khalid - Al Joud Green Hostel has a garden. The chalet features a pool with a view with a fence, along with free WiFi. It was spacious and clean. quiet, secluded. just beautiful!

Located within 2.5 km of Al Hadd Beach and 400 metres of Al Hadd Fort, Salem Fish Guest House provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Al Ḩadd. Sal was an excellent host. He has a warm and friendly personality and kindly offered a large bowl of fruits and Omani tea and coffee any time of the day. We enjoyed meeting his horse and what we came for, to see the sea turtles and babies. His Inn is comfortable and relaxed- a little slice of paradise.

Starry Domes Desert Camp offers air-conditioned accommodation in Bidiyah. Boasting room service, this property also has a restaurant and a terrace. Rooms have a patio. Such a Great experience! We had a wonderful time in the desert. Everything was taken care of from arrival to departure. We drove with our own car but before driving through the desert we were helped to prepare the car for it. We enjoyed the special atmosphere on site. In the middle of the desert but so cozy. We did dune bashing and watched the sunset from a dune. A wonderful dinner was served to us and a cozy get-together with delicious tea, where we got to know the other guests and the owner, made the stay something very special. The next morning a very good breakfast was served on our own patio and we enjoyed the stunning sunrise.

Alsaif camp features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and bar in Bidiyah. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. 1. Property location is an amazing +ve (since we were with a 2 year old, we did not want to venture into the desert and preferred staying at the edge of the desert) 2. Friendly manager Mr. Yasir takes every effort to help and engage guests in every possible way and also helped in arranging dune bashing at sunset for us, a small campfire etc)
