This is an apartment hotel, my room was a studio with a balcony on the sixth floor. The studio is small but for a single person had enough space to never feel cramped. The rooms are well designed in the layout with a wardrobe and small desk as well as a kitchen and dining area with cooking pans, plate, utensils to make regular meals. The bathroom has a shower and nice vanity and again well designed with plenty of light. A free laundry area is available on the first floor as well as a gym. Staff are very helpful. Wi-fi was excellent. The hotel is walking distance to the CBD and popular Smith Street restaurants and nightlife as well as Fitzroy and Treasury Gardens.

We were absolutely blown away by the hosts and how lovely the property was. The views and room were outstanding and we could not have been more welcome! Little things right down to the bread, milk and snacks all customised and well thought out. We will be back, it is the best stay for miles in this area.

The meal we had at Beechwood house was truly the best we had anywhere during our trip. We stayed in a comfortable studio suite and the property is so very relaxing. I'm only sorry we didn't stay longer.
