The owner's daughter spoke very good English and was at our help wherever we had any questions. She is a very happy and positive person who welcomed us with a really delicious meal. I do recomed the place. It is peaceful. Though we had no car and arreived by plane to the country, travelling was easy because there is a train station in the neighbourhod from where you can explore the whole country We loved the place.

Ferme de Genève features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Beaurevoir, 20 km from Matisse Museum. We really enjoyed this place. We only stayed for one night because we were on our way to Spain. We said to each other: this place is actually to good to stay only one night. The room is at a farm were they have horses. The horses were very nice and brought a very nice atmosphere to the houses. The room itself was great! Bad ass bathroom ;) lovely bed and everything was very spacious.

Chambres d'Hotes Lorengrain is situated in Bruyères-et-Montbérault and has a private pool and garden views. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. The day before we arrived, I received a text from the owner Olivier with details of the property and asked if we would like dinner. I text Olivier, ten minutes before arrival, as requested and he sent a video of the road to take. He was there on arrival and asked if we would like to use the pool for an hour. We had this to ourselves and it was lovely after a long, hot journey. The room was gorgeous, the bed was extremely comfortable and it was spotless. There was a tassimo machine and kettle in the room. Me and my husband were the only ones for dinner and Olivier and his son had made homemade burgers and the best chips I've ever tasted. Breakfast was a lovely spread with fresh bread, croissants and pain au choc on each table. There is also a sauna onsite and you can book a massage too. An excellent place to chill. The town of Loan is close and there is lots to explore locally.

Offering a bar and garden view, La Besace is set in Sainte-Croix, 19 km from Laon Train Station and 37 km from Les Hautes Promenades. Easy to find and perfect as an exceptional stay after a long hard day on the bike. Nice under cover place for my motorbike. Immaculate B&B and definitely a home from home. After a bit of a difficult bike ride ( weather ) it was just lovely to be greeted by Aga and a cold beer offered. Perfect. Lovely room, fantastic steamy hot shower and it just kept getting better….. Home cooked dinner by Aga was just fantastic. More & more kept arriving!! If you’re a couple or a solo traveler then BOOK HERE ! It doesn’t get any better than this.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Maison d'Hôtes Ferme d'Issonges B&B is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Marigny-en-Orxois, 46 km from Val d'Europe RER Station. Breakfast and dinner were both exceptional! Dinner is just 27 euros, home cooled, and very good. The owners are friendly and engaging. The ferme was used by an American Brigade Commander as his HQ in WW1 during a part of the Battle of Belleau Wood. I used it as a home base to explore the Marne battlefields. It couldn't be more well suited for that. About a 10 minute drive to Belleau Wood and the American Cemetery. Superb 12th century market hall is in the town, 2 minutes away. Highly recommend!
