Located on the Ile d’Oleron, the Hotel Île De Lumière offers direct access to the beach. It has an outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court and many other facilities. The location is picture perfect, literally. It is on the western coast of the island, so if there is a sunset, you would see it. On our days, it was rainy, but that simply brought a different kind of beauty. The beaches were mostly empty - we had them to ourselves. There are several ways to get to the beach below, and all are an easy, short walk. Yet, the hotel is elevated, so you have a lovely view of the coastline. The room was light and airy, and very clean. There is plenty of storage space, and a nice shower with plenty of pressure. The bed was very comfortable, and there were room darkening curtains. The hotel was full when we were there, but it was still quiet. Breakfast is not included, but we found it to be worth the price. There was a lot of variety in the pastries offered, along with cheese, meat, boiled eggs, cereal, and fruit. We would recommend this place, and would stay again.

Situated in the lively Saint Nicolas district in La Rochelle, this hotel is surrounded by antique dealers, bars and cafés. It offers free Wi-Fi and a conservatory with large sofas and tropical plants.... The room was comfortable, the breakfast terrific, and the staff was super helpful and friendly, also I enjoyed having parking on site. The location was perfect.

Offering quiet street views, Résidence Mk Evasion is an accommodation located in Jonzac, 48 km from Saintes Train Station and 46 km from Saint Pierre Cathedral. Everything was new and amenities modern and clean and pleasing. Large, personal, private bungalow space with our dog allowed. Great host on site if need be. 👍

Located within 19 km of La Rochelle Train Station and 21 km of L'Espace Encan in Sainte-Marie-de-Ré, Le Petit Bois provides accommodation with seating area. This is a wonderful place to stay in the delightful village of Sainte Marie. The hosts are wonderfully helpful and friendly, organizing a crepe-based get-together for the guests and helping with any requests. The holiday homes are clean and well-equipped. The heated pool is great. There is a games room and it is possible to rent bikes on site. The property is located between the two halves of the village, each with a marketplace, so all the delights are easily accessible. Beaches are close by, 5 minutes by bike, 10-15 minutes on foot

Offering a garden and garden view, Appartement Escapade Vitaminée - Maison d'Aligre is set in Marans, 24 km from La Rochelle Train Station and 25 km from L'Espace Encan. The location and design of the apartment were ideal for us and we particularly liked the courtyard garden.
