The Crown Inn Pooley Bridge has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Pooley Bridge. This 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk. The staff were so welcoming and helpful from start to finish. The Crown Inn, is well located and is very charming. An excellent combination of traditional with a modern twist. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast. We stayed in room 17 which was on the top floor and had beautiful views of the lake. All in all, our stay was everything we could have wished for and we will definitely be back.

Situated in Grasmere, 12 km from Windermere, Victorian House features parking is limited and offered on a first come and first served basis. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Such a warm and welcoming guesthouse, with beautiful attention to detail, one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had and delicious homemade cake on arrival. Such a clean and comfortable bedroom.

Overlooking picturesque hills, Meadowcroft Country Guesthouse is a family-run guest house in the tranquil Village of Ings, 2 miles from Windermere. There is free Wi-Fi in the bedrooms. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast superb and hosts very attentive .they were so helpful and pleasant .it has everything you could want for an enjoyable stay

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Excellent location. Was able to purchase early parking and check in. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The hotel was clean, bright, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, fruit juices, fruit, yogurt, granola and cereals and a great selection of cooked breakfast choices.

This family-run Lake District accommodation has an indoor swimming pool, picturesque gardens and free parking. Free WiFi is available in the downstairs public areas and the bedrooms. the staff were lovely. the hotel was spotless

A 5-minute drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, Ravenstone Manor is an 19th-century manor house set in 3 hectares of ground. The property is at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. Really enjoyed our stay with our cocker spaniel Willow. Very homely and comfortable. All staff excellent. Will definitely return.

We had an absolutely wonderful 2-day stay at Longsdale House Luxury Apartments in Ulverston. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The apartment was immaculate, beautifully furnished, and equipped with every amenity we could need for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail was impressive – from the cozy bedding to the thoughtful touches like complimentary toiletries and a well-stocked kitchen. The living space was spacious yet cozy, making it ideal for both relaxing and spending quality family time. The location was perfect for exploring the Lake District, with easy access to local attractions while still being tucked away in a peaceful, charming area. Featuring 4-star accommodation, Ambleside Fell Rooms is situated in Ambleside, 16 km from Lake Windermere and 29 km from Derwentwater. Fantastic central location to Ambleside. Lots of local walks on the doorstep. The room was stunning, would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Situated in Maryport, 29 km from Buttermere and 34 km from Derwentwater, Bells yard Cottage Maryport features accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. The property was warm and cozy! Really well decorated throughout .The property provided with everything we would need with an extra basket provided with little bits of different cereal which was a nice touch! Communication was great! Really easy to get in! We was warned about the stairs been steep but we didn't have an issue at all with stairs inside or outside these didn't affect us in any way!
