I stayed for one night at the beginning of low season in October and it was wonderful and quiet. The breakfast was fantastic and to my liking as someone who seeks local/organic options. Sweet heartfelt conversation with Kat and Theo. Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchenette. Nice suggestions from Kat for restaurants. The beach is stunning- calm seas and lovely clay cliffs.

He was attentive to all the details, explained how everything worked in the house and was available for any questions or queries. By far the best! We fell in love with the house, small and cozy, with all the comforts of home. Close to the center, easy and very safe to walk. Highly recommended Zaira's little house!

We arrived at Corfu Town on the ferry from Brindisi and then drove to Kalami, which took around 50 minutes. Despite arriving at 10:30, Kostas kindly allowed us to check in and get out of the heat. I can't praise Kostas and his team enough. Any questions, even stupid ones, were answered quickly. For example, I couldn't figure out how to get the key out of the door and had to admit defeat and message Kostas; he answered within 5 minutes For us, the location was just about perfect. Close enough to the town to walk to but far enough away that any noise (of which there was very little) didn't affect us. The road to town has a ridged concrete surface and is, at times, fairly steep, so getting down only takes 5 minutes. If you have mobility issues or have a stroller, then getting back up the road may prove difficult. If you are unfit and lazy, like me, then it takes at least 10 minutes to walk back up. But there is parking in town so taking the car down is an option. The views of the bay and the beach from the patio were spectacular, and we spent many a happy hour just watching the game of musical boats played by the yachts, sailboats, and various craft in the harbour. The apartment itself was clean and well-provisioned. A couple of suggestions for the apartment would be; a pair of scissors and a cafetiere. The air-con was silent and, with the high temperatures, essential. The villa is in a rural location (set amid olive groves and gardens), so if you leave any food unsealed (even in the cupboards), you will be visited by a long train of ants - we used the fridge as a safe space. I suspect the water is solar heated, so there isn't much hot water at peak times during the day - although, with the weather we experienced, we preferred cold showers. Overall, this was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable holidays we've ever had.
