We liked everything: spacious room, view from the window, excellent restaurant, trad music in the bar during the first evening, good lounge area to play chess or talk. It is a short drive to Kylemore, Diamond Hill, and Cliffden. This was the best and cheapest hotel during our stay in Ireland.

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Oughterard, Camillaun Lodge with Lough Corrib Boat Hire is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the garden. Among the best breakfasts in 8 cumulative weeks in Ireland over 3 trips. Easy walking distance to village along river path. Greg and Deidre were supplied helpful information re touring the peninsula.

Standing at the head of Cashel Bay, this hotel is set in 50 acres of award-winning gardens and woodlands. Cashel House offers luxurious bedrooms, fine dining and a private beach. The staff was incredible, so warm and welcoming. Also, can we talk about your beautiful property and the garden ? it was so nice to talk through all the flowers and the forest.

On the edge of beautiful, scenic Connemara and with magnificent sea views over Ardbear Bay, this charming hotel offers individually decorated en suite rooms and a superb award-winning restaurant. Rooms are functionally furnished, nothing is missing. Beds are very comfortable. Bathroom and room very clean. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. And you can marvel at the breathtaking view.

Ben Gower, a property with a garden, is located in Glentrasna, 36 km from St. Nicholas Collegiate Church, 37 km from Eyre Square, as well as 37 km from Galway Railway Station. The thatched house is beautiful, very cozy inside with all the amenities needed. The surroundings are breathtaking ! The host left a Guiness bread loaf out of this world. I was remote working for a few days and the WiFi connection was great.

The property is around 36 km from St. The house is located in very private area which gives lots of privacy. The views from the windows are amazing and the area is beautiful. Beds are really comfortable. kitchen is very well equipped. Aife the host is so nice and helpful. There was great communication with Aoife. Little amenities which ware left in the bathrooms were very useful especially little bobbins :) We had an amazing time in Corrib house. Thank you for having us we will be back :)

Situated 35 km from National University of Galway, Aggrafard features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This beautiful cottage near Quiet Man Bridge made us feel right at home, and now that we’re back, we find ourselves a bit homesick. The welcoming basket of freshly baked homemade bread was a lovely touch, and we appreciated the thoughtful extras like washing pods, salt and pepper, tea and coffee, and plenty of towels for our stay. The owner even brought us candles and fire logs to keep us cozy through the storm! Sadly, we didn’t make it to the family-run pub in Oughterard, as we were too busy exploring the stunning scenery of Connemara National Park. Anyways, this was a grand experience altogether and we‘d be delighted to come back soon!

Situated in Glentrasna in the Galway County region, Bofin features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The property is around 36 km from St. Lovely and cosy cottage in the countryside. Furnished with great care for comfort and coziness. Beautiful scenery all around, lots of sheep. It does take about 20 to 25 min to walk from the cottage to the main road but a great bonus was that the busdrivers in the area actually do stop for you as long as they have a laneway to stop in. This way we were still able to access the public transport fairly easy.
