Located in Madikeri and with Madikeri Fort reachable within 9.4 km, Coorg Marriott Resort & Spa provides concierge services, allergy-free rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. The property was exceptional in terms of it location, atmposphere, and sense of spaciousness. The staff were exceptional, courteous, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and had enough variety to keep variety of palattes happy. The choice of experience available for guests are what you expect however had some unique "estate walk' with a resident ecologist is really makes the experience memorable. While all the staff we encountered were friendly, courteous and helpful, we would like to single out few of them: Lakrani was very courteous, efficient and friendly. She would be easily hired for customer facing work anywhere in the world. Infectious enthusiasm was impressive. Lithin was very knowledgable, friendly and willing to share his knowledge about the property, eco system and his passion readily. Ranjit Kumar Pradhan was extremely friendly, obliging and creative in preparing food of exceptional quality and taste. Wish we stayed more nights to taste his delicacy.

Situated in Hampi, HearthspaceHampi, a low-impact backpackers hostel has a garden, shared lounge and free WiFi. Guests can have a drink at the snack bar. HeartspaceHampi is an amazing hostel in the quiet village of Hanumanhalli, surrounded by a huge boulder area and amazing landscapes. It is a few minutes walking away from the Hanuman Temple or the river seperating north and south Hampi. There are plenty of ruïnes on that side of the river, but if you want to see the main ruïnes you can simply rent bikes or bicycles (last ones available for very democratic prices at hostel) an cross by boat. The host Sam is an incredible woman who will drown you in tips and tricks about how to visit the region and will do anything in her power to assist you in a joyful stay at her place. For me, it was very refreshing to stay in a hostel that tries to limit their ecological footprint as much as possible, especially in a country as India where not a lot of people seem to care. The hotel itself is very small, but amazingly cosy. In the chill area, everyone would feel right at peace. I would definitely ho here again.

Boasting a garden, terrace and views of garden, Rahees Bi Roambay - Backpacker Hostel is situated in Mysore, 3 km from Mysore Palace. The guy from the reception was very friendly and helpful. The place has a lovely garden and a terrace to chill out. All areas are well-maintained and clean. Rooms also have very pleasant space.

Prajwal home stay offers air-conditioned rooms in Hampi. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. The homestay features family rooms. Prajwal's apartment is one of the best we've been so far in india. Everything was super clean, the beds very comfortable and the whole family of the house is very caring and friendly. Prajwal's dad Raj is the best Rickshaw driver in the region and you can make tours with him to see Hampi. Everything here is highly recommended!

Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru at Embassy ONE lives up to its prestigious brandname. The attention to detail in their guest handling was par excellence. The room was stunning and very comfortable with great range of amenities. The bathroom had all the necessities. The view from the room was calming. The food served at breakfast was a culinary delight. We gorged ourselves on the extensive range of vegetarian and non vegetarian food. The restaurant staff were equally pleasant. The food served at the Far East restaurant was a delight. The dinner was one of the best we have had both in terms of service and flavour The hotel also has a lovely pool enclosed by a private garden and lovely trees. One forget that they are in a hotel in the middle of the city when inside that. Overall the stay at Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru at Embassy ONE is something that neither my wife or I would forget. We will cherish the memories and a large part of the memories was on account of the attention to detail by the staff. Thank you for the exceptional service.
