The surrounding area is beautiful and relaxing, with typical Japanese multi-level fields next to wild forest. We also had a great time talking to the non-English speaking members of the staff via voice translation apps.

The bedroom was spacious, part of a larger house. We were the only guests and had use of all the facilities- being able to wash and dry clothes overnight was very useful. The owner of the house was exceptionally helpful - she drove us around and we took her to dinner in the evening and she took us to her favorite bar. It was fun to have our own guide and interesting to talk to her about the area. She also drove us to the station the next morning. Definitely a cultural experience!

Everything! The location was amazing! The gentleman who helped us was so kind and helpful and accommodating!! The space was huge!!!! Traditional elements everywhere in the home, skinny stairs though! We've been in many hotels and houses in Japan these past two weeks and this was by far the best one! Highly highly highly recommend!

Very clean and comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. Great host with great communication. Sent a lot of ideas for restaurants and activities without being asked.

They put a blanket on the table which reaches the floor, and there is a heater under the table. Great way to keep warm while sitting at the table. in the main house, the bedroom is on the first floor and the bathroom on the main floor, which means navigating steep stairs if you need to get up in the middle of the night.

Located just 14 km from Nara Station, Yamanobenomichi teku teku features accommodation in Tenri with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as free shuttle service. Everything was simply great. Thank you for this wonderful experience and stay.
