Breakfast was simple and excellent. Served in a common area , where you met the other guests. Location is quiet and relaxing, handy for Bayeux, Caen and Juno beach. Great for a stopover if travelling by boat from Cherbourg.

This charming, family-run business exceeded all expectations. The attention to detail was exceptional, and the host was incredibly helpful, available, and supportive at all times of the day. The chateau is located in a picturesque little village, just 6 km from the coast and several other delightful villages, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. Ample on-site parking adds to the convenience. A custom-cooked dinner with a chef can be arranged in advance, though there are plenty of fantastic restaurants just a few kilometres away. The host provided excellent recommendations and even kindly booked a different restaurant for us each night during our stay, which was a wonderful touch. Spa treatments for women can be arranged ahead of time, adding a luxurious option to the experience. There’s also an EV charger conveniently located 100 meters away. Breakfast was truly outstanding, offering a large and varied selection of freshly prepared pastries, breads, cheeses, and cakes, with the menu changing daily to keep things exciting. Overall, this is a gem of a place, combining warmth, exceptional service, and thoughtful amenities. Highly recommended!

A beautiful apartment located in the French countryside with a very large amount of attractions in the vincinity both French cultural and historical and D-day related. The apartment itself is built in an old building which gives the apartment a very nice and cozy look. You also have access to a small pool and heated jacuzzi, very nice to lie down in after a day of tourism. These baths are clean and well maintaned. The host was very accomodating and gave information about things to do in the area, he also gave us a bottle of calvados which he made himself, it was very good.

Beautiful location! The rooms are very spacious, cozy, and clean. The local food served for breakfast was delicious, as was the Norman dining experience for dinner. But most importantly, the hosts are the best—not only super friendly but also incredibly helpful and understanding when we had a terrible situation with the car rental company. Quality experience. Even though a small room it felt perfectly comfortable and had everything we needed. Free parking in the lot next door. Comfortable bed. Restaurants and beach a short drive away. Anne is an exceptional host and the breakfast cart was delicious. Highly recommended!
