Atmosphere in this ex-agricultural complex. Great breakfast! Close to Venice, bus ride without change in cca 25 minutes
‘Does it have a pool?’ is arguably one of the most common questions when booking a stay in any location. These hotels offer a great way to keep active during your holiday without having to hit the gym. Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.
Greeting - very friendly - enabled us to book in early
Breakfast - good
Swimming pool - amazing and staff offered us additional towels etc
Bar staff - great
Room - lovely size - bathrooms could be a little more updated, but fine
Excellent view next to river canal. Have all the facilities of a five star hotel. Unfortunately due to winter time swimming pool was closed which was fair. Absolutely highly recommended to all the tourists.
Lovely self contained island great idea to give €50 per night so the guests can choose to have a dinner at the amazing Cucina or Sargo roof top restraunt
Great spa and swimming pool loved it
Frankly speaking, There wasn't much to like about the hotel because it was not what I expected. For the money we paid, I expected more and the fact that the pictures looked far far much better than what we got. I actually felt like we were in some camp, camping out like some school outing? The pool area and the pool itself looks spectacular in the pics but the reality was nothing like I expected. ibn fact I couldn't even bring myself to swim in that small shallow pool. it was like an outdoor makeshift jacuzzi.
The hotel is a fantastic old building. Very charming, in total local style and with a swimming pool (small) which is unique in Venice.
The area of the hotel is perfect, it is close to everything and mainly to Rialto and to the stations leading you to the various islands.
The rooms we had were pretty large and one had a 20 m2 terrasse, that was stunning.
Really lovely hotel in a central location. Loved having the pool but worth noting it’s a 9 person max. and is more suited to a dip rather than a swim. Lovely spread for the breakfast, lots of options. Nice to have the outdoor area for food and drinks.
So, let's start with the good.
Apart from one or two grumpy staff, the service is exceptional. Friendly, lovely and helpful. It's the sort of service I would expect from a 4 or 5 star place.
It is also in an amazing location just out of reach of the throngs of tourists. It also has a small, but nice swimming pool in the garden.
Housekeeping - no complaints. Room meticulously cleaned.
Rooms are dark for sleeping and incredibly quiet.
I'm afraid it stops there.
