The rooms and facilities were great and with a great interior design. The host offered dinner at the Vila for an extra charge which was delicious and good value. The host also went out of his way to make sure we had coffee and a light eat before we had to leave early in the morning which we really appreciated.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, garden view and a balcony, belle maison avec piscine chauffée is situated in Caudebec-lès-Elbeuf. A hot tub is available for guests. Location was good for local shops, large supermarket, burger king, MacDonalds, Boulangerie. Rouen was 45 minutes away, although we encountered road works that slowed us down. Main highway was about 15 minutes from villa. Was quiet, except for the night the alarm went off at the building behind the villa. Master bedroom was comfortable, lots of storage, plus a safe. It had ensuite shower (there was a hand held spray and one overhead, water pressure was excellent), there was a separate wash basin. I would have liked an ensuite toilet, as the 3 upstairs bedrooms shared the one toilet. The bedroom downstairs had access to a toilet and shower. Wifi was excellent probably 5 or 6 devices on at a single time, no delay. Kitchen and living area was open plan, we left patio doors open and kitchen window open and had a lovely through breeze, don't think we used the a/c. We cooked meals on the stove top, there was lots of pots, pans, cutlery, crockery and kitchen layout was spacious enough for us not to get in each other's way. Fridge and freezer were plenty big enough, along with more than enough storage cabinets, which we didn't use. My 2 grandkids (11 & 13) spent most of the available time in the pool, I suspect it was they're favorite part of the stay! There were lots of pool floats, and toys etc to keep them occupied. Parking was more than sufficient. We had 1 car. I suspect there was room for 3 or 4 although you'd have to shuffle them to get the furthest car out. Entry was via a 6 foot/2 meter gate which was operated by a fob on the house door key. The house had shutters on, I believe, every door and window ( didn't check the pool door).
